Decolonization is an important step to giving access to everyone who needs it, not just the people who historically claim it only belongs to them.

 

Sibusiso is a science writer, science communicator and advocate for the decolonization of science and science communication. He produces written and digital content in English and isiZulu under science communication company ScienceLink (Pty) Ltd., for organizations including the University of Pretoria, the CSIR, The South African National Space Agency, and the Global Change Institute at Wits University.

 

He also works as a science journalist and columnist for various publications, including Noseweek, Scientific African Magazine, the Open Notebook and SciBraai, a local NPO dedicated to science storytelling. Sibusiso regularly writes about topics in the field of conservation, biodiversity and science-based policy.
