Nabeela  is currently pursuing her PhD from CHRIST ((Deemed to be University), Delhi-NCR. Prior to this she worked as a Research cum Teaching Assistant at Dharamshastra National Law University (DNLU). She has also worked as a Judicial Clerk at National Green Tribunal, Principal Bench, New Delhi under the chairmanship of Retired Supreme Court Judge Justice A.K. Goel. She was awarded the President of India, Dr. Shankar Dayal Sharma, gold medal, the Innes Prize, the Carmicheal Prize, the V. Suresham Memorial award upon her completion of Masters in Law from University of Madras, Chennai. Her interests include constitutional law, environmental law, feminist legal theory and feminist judgment writing.

Nabeela teaches pro bono lectures for students from all over India on niche areas of research and basics of research. She is currently on the advisor panel for various NGOs and legal platforms, facilitating better networking and outreach. Nabeela also loves to paint - one of her paintings was published in Conscious Lawyer Magazine, UK!
